Bringing the world’s largest models to your devices

At webAI, we believe that in order to solve business problems with AI, first we need to solve the problems of AI.

Privacy.
Energy consumption.
Outrageous costs.

What we offer addresses all of these in a way incumbent AI providers don’t.

We started our company from the premise that AI should protect users’ privacy. No founder or individual should be worried about their IP being stolen or their data used to train someone else’s model. webAI brings AI to your local device rather than to a cloud. Our technology enables users to power some of the world’s largest models on consumer-grade hardware. This means collaboration within secure settings and significantly reduces cloud computing costs.

We’re just getting started. At today’s Summer Release Event, we announced three new capabilities – all aimed at continuing to solve problems with incumbent AI applications, available today for our customers:

Navigator

webframe

Navigator is a significant improvement over typical AI training and prototyping tools. Navigator brings all the elements you need to build into one place: inputs (like cameras, data sets, or media), outputs where you specify what should happen, and Training & Inference, which consists of object detectors, image classification, LLMs, and more. All of which can be dragged and dropped onto a canvas. Navigator allows you to deploy directly from the canvas to your local device, or across a local network of devices working together.

webFrame

webframe

webFrame allows you to fine tune large state-of-the-art models and run them across local devices, bringing AI directly to where the data is being created. webFrames does this by creating shards that are distributed across machines, but collaborate as one. We showed how with webFrame, we can deploy Llama 3.1 405B – Meta’s best and largest open source model – across a cluster of consumer devices.

Assistant

webAI Assistant is a new feature which lives natively on your device and allows you to tap into webAI models, without any connection to the outside world. That means data remains on your device, and you can run it on a laptop, phone, and even VR hardware, any time.

It’s still early days for us at webAI, but the advancements we’ve announced today are huge steps forward in creating an AI ecosystem that actually works for businesses and consumers. To request access, sign up here.
